Biography

Gabby Strzalkowski joined the Department of Aerospace Engineering in August
2024 as the Graduate Program Coordinator. In this role, she supports Master’s and
PhD students through the entire student lifecycle, from admission to graduation.
She is deeply passionate about the transformative power of education on both an
individual and societal level, and she thoroughly enjoys working closely with
students to support their growth and success.
Gabby has over a decade of experience working in education. She began her career
as a high school English and Psychology teacher before transitioning to higher
education in 2017. Since then, she has served in a variety of roles related to
undergraduate admissions, international programs, academic advising, and
engaged learning. She has been working at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
since March 2022. As an alum, she finds great purpose in supporting the campus
community that shaped her own educational journey.
Gabby holds a Master’s degree in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from
Michigan State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University
of Michigan.
Outside of work, Gabby enjoys running, camping, musical theatre, reading, getting
coffee with friends, watching movies, and hanging out with her cat, Jolene.
