Admissions

Students are not admitted directly to the Department of Aerospace Engineering; instead, they apply to the University of Michigan and the College of Engineering.

After students are accepted to U-M and the College of Engineering, they can declare a major. Students declaring aerospace engineering as their major will then receive academic advising through the Aerospace Academic Services Office as well as career advising through an assigned faculty advisor

Information on undergraduate admission, transferring and international students is available on the website of the College of Engineering Admissions Office, or contact our office.
