Study Abroad

Undergraduates at the University of Michigan have a number of opportunities for study abroad.

There are programs coordinated through the College of Engineering’s International Programs in Engineering, organized through LS&A’s Center for Global and International Study and non-UM programs through a variety of sources. Students can build on their study abroad experience with other courses, leading to an International Minor or the Engineering Global Leadership Honors Program.

Of particular interest to AERO students is the GEA (Groupe des Écoles Aéronautiques et Spatiales) summer program. The six-week program includes 15-20 hours of lectures (in English) at top Aerospace Universities, a “Survival French” course, and outings to the Paris Air Show and Basque Country.
