Biography
Liza Roberts joined the Aerospace Engineering department in July 2022 as the Global Aerospace Leadership MEng Program Coordinator. Her role is focused around supporting the Global Aerospace Leadership MEng team with program coordination and ongoing management of this new and innovative online master’s program.
Liza joined the University of Michigan as a full-time staff member in 2014 after holding a variety of part-time positions throughout her undergraduate career at U-M. She previously conducted research with faculty members studying everything from algal biofuels at the School of Environment and Sustainability to psoriasis at Michigan Medicine. Liza also served as the project coordinator for Mcubed, an innovative program that enabled interdisciplinary faculty teams to obtain rapid seed funding. Most recently, Liza worked in the College of Pharmacy as the Clinical Pharmacy department executive secretary and CPTS PhD program graduate coordinator.
Liza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and political science, with a minor in the Program in the Environment, from the University of Michigan.
When not at work, Liza enjoys spending time outside with her family, reading, running anything from 5Ks to marathons, baking pies, and watching U-M basketball.
