Biography
Zack joined the Aerospace Department in 2016. He is a Senior Research Administrator who provides pre-award and post-award support for research faculty. As a member of the finance team, Zack works closely with Aerospace faculty and with many U-M units including human resources, student services, procurement, contract administration, and Office of Research and Sponsored Projects.
Prior to U-M Zack managed a fixed base operator (FBO) at Oakland County International Airport (PTK), where he was responsible for daily business operations and customer service.
Zack earned a B.S. in Aviation Business Management from Eastern Michigan University, and a M.S. in Program and Project Management from the University of Michigan. He is also an instrument rated pilot and advanced open water certified scuba diver with multiple specialty certifications.
Outside of work you will find Zack playing guitar, attending concerts, Detroit Tigers games, and scuba diving and deep sea fishing in southern Florida
